Kate, M2G’s founding director, is passionate about nurturing self-belief so that a person can surpass their goals and lead a fulfilling life.
Motherhood, a fascination with matters of the mind, and determination to maximise an individual’s potential are the driving forces behind M2G – Movement to Growth.
“In danger of sounding like a cliché, I believe that you only get one opportunity at life. I wish to help individuals reach their maximum potential in fulfilling their goals and ambitions and live their best possible life.”
Having spent many years leading a commercial enterprise, Kate is now applying her knowledge and experience to developing M2G through its original offering of innovative, people-focused workshops. She happily admits that her love of acupuncture, yoga, and mental wellbeing have helped her pave the way towards the evolution of M2G.
Experienced in a wide range of wellbeing therapies, Nicola has been practising as a clinical psychologist for over ten years. Regularly drawing on techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Nicola works with children, young people, families, individual adults, and couples to help them understand the issues they are facing in life, identify new goals, and establish how they can achieve those goals.
“In her sessions, she welcomes discussion and is able to respond to the needs of a group in the moment and adjust course material accordingly. I unreservedly recommend her as a developer of courses and an inspiring instructor.” Dr Janet Warren, FirstStop Nutrition Ltd.
Nicola is particularly keen to offer an alternative approach to those who are not necessarily looking for a one-to-one focus. The M2G workshops are an ideal method for doing this, for the support that can be offered through such group work can suit many individuals.
